Dr Ganguli’s Recipes
On this page I have put links to some recipes which I have come up with – generally these are “super healthy” and include what I consider to be “superfoods” (single foods which have been shown in randomized trails to have specific (and often multiple) benefits):
- Superfood breakfast – lowers cholesterol & inflammation (oats) and has potent anti-cancer (breast & prostate) & blood pressure lowering effects. I eat this at least 5 days a week.
- Easy oil free hummus – the tahini is one of the best plant-based sources of calcium. Takes less than 10 minutes to make and is incredibly versatile (eg add white beans, lentils, cooked sweet potato).
- Balsamic superfood dressing – optimised for anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory benefits.
looking forward to trying some of these recipes and changing our diet, not just for self but especially for George.
